Srebarna Nature Reserve
Srebarna Natural Reserve is a natural reserve located in northeastern Bulgaria, including Srebarna Lake and the surrounding areas on the Via Pontica road, which is a migration route for birds between Europe and Africa. The area was declared a natural reserve in 1948, and recognized as a World Heritage Site under the 1972 Convention for the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage. It was also listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1983.
St. George the Victorious Shrine
St. George the Victorious Shrine is located in Blagoevgrad and was built in the New Byzantine style between 1903 and 1907 to honor the soldiers who died in the liberation of Bulgaria during the siege of Blagoevgrad.
National Parks
